Oliver began his day with present opening, followed by chocolate cereal and party poppers. We let Oliver blow the candles on the cake at breakfast so that he could take some for school lunch.
After school there was a visit from Granny then Katharine took Oliver, Max and Matthew to the Lakeside bowling alley. Katharine forgot to take photo evidence, but the final score was Matthew 83, Oliver 89 and Max 104. Great fun was had by all including Mummy who was doing the drink run and all the whooping! That worked up an appetite for Kentucky Fried Chicken where we demolished a deluxe boneless box and 4 cadburys flake avalanche ice-creams all washed down with 1 1/2 litres of the evil brown fizzy stuff!
Oliver declared at bedtime that it was the best birthday he has ever had, so sweet dreams!
