If only I would have known it was that easy to make my wife happy, I would have done it years ago! After my disaster last week with defrosting the freezer, we now have a monster of a fridge-freezer and a very happy wife. I also understand now that yes size does matter, I feel so lucky that the goods I chose actually fits the gap.

Beach - January 2010
Today started with sunshine, so what could go wrong!!!! ..... well, defrosting the freezer is what went wrong. A little tip to all my male blog followers, never defrost the freezer with a meat cleaver you could easily burst a pipe!. To help solve my dilemma a trip to Currys was needed, this is where I discovered that this is quite a common problem. After a visit from Leanne and Jasmine and after lunch we went to Weymouth beach for some gymnastic run around time.

When we arrived home we had time to do some paint stamping and practice some drawing techniques.
Daddy's Birthday
On the 11th January I celebrated my 36th birthday, by going to work and coming home to gifts and lots & lots of lovely chocolate, chocolate slabs, chocolate cake and a range of hotel chocolat. This has now been eaten, it has been a chore but I succeeded and I am now on chocolate come down so any donations are welcome :0D.

January Catch UP
This week we had delivery of our extending dining table. We have all fallen in love with this piece of furniture, it now means we can all sit together at meal time without the booster seat trays. It also gives Katharine a good reason to put on huge meals, this is not a complaint! as long as there is meat I am happy !

New Year 2010
This years, New Year day walk was at Tynham Village. The drive to the village was eventful as driving up the smallest of hills we ended up stuck in an ice patch with cars behind and in front, after about 10min some kind person helped me to push our vehicle free. Once we arrived at Tynham we realised that a lot of people had the same idea for a walk at this location. We took a nice walk down to Worbarrow Bay, and ate mince pies!
