Around ringstead

Picnic weather or so we thought! A trip to ringstead, the idea was to Park at the top  and walk down to the bay have a play & picnic then wonder back up, unfortunately the cold sea breeze did not disappear so it was a quicker trip than expected.
Nice walk from top to bottom

Trying to find good firewood

Settled for valcano building to keep warm.

Easter holiday treat

Today was a holiday treat ! We decided to treat the kids to a meal at Katharine's new place of work. Great food and I feel I need to go up a belt buckle.

Ice cream with a twist courtesy of Arlee our friend and waitress.

Back on the BLOG!

Hi everyone, apologies it has been a long time since I last blogged, hopefully I can find time to bring it back on track.
Today was a birthday part for one of Jacob & Rebecca's friend and the part was a new experience for me also, a GO KART party! how I wish I was 7 again. The track was not too big and the cars were not to F1 standards but it had the excitement ! if you can imagine letting 4 learner drives go round a one way system on there own then you have the idea of the mayhem.
Jacob looking at the passers bye!

Rebecca leaving all the collision behind, just like her mummy!

Well earned rest at Abbotsbury gardens

Squirrel Hunting

A nice crisp Autumn morning which brings the urge to help the little locals of Nothe Gardens gather there food for the winter.
Waiting VERY patiently for the little furry fellows to arrive.

No squirrels but there was a lovely tit to admire!

Finally the circus squirrels turned up and climbed and sat everywhere even on Oliver's shoulder.

Goodbye Buckley

He was the best dog a family could have and was loved by everyone, he was gentle and loyal and we will miss him dearly. He was only 2 but had an eventful life and enjoyed being part of our family. Where ever you are, we hope you are sniffing, chasing and wagging your tail, bye bye lots of cuddles, your family.
